A few weeks ago, PREIT-tour participated in the closing event of the community outreach project on gastronomic capacity building in the parish of Baños.
For a year, two technical teachers (Patricia Ortiz & Israel Montero) from the Faculty of Hospitality Sciences conducted training in the community of Baños with a particular focus on gastronomy. Indeed, the gastronomy students were in charge of training a group of entrepreneurs in the area. In addition, this project was part of PREIT-tour's efforts linked to tourism as a means of sustainable development.
The entrepreneurs learned various techniques that are being used in their businesses. In addition, the collaboration of the GAD Baños was significant for the achievement of the objectives set.
