🌟 Warmi VIVAMENTE Project: Well-being, Tourism, and Gastronomy for Female Out-of-Town Students 🌟

In an inspiring effort to strengthen the well-being of female out-of-town students from the University of Cuenca who live alone, the Warmi VIVAMENTE project has made exciting and impactful progress. 🚀

✨ What is it about?Warmi VIVAMENTE aims to connect these young women with tourism and gastronomic experiences, helping them reduce stress, anxiety, and depression through activities that promote holistic well-being. 💆‍♀️🌿

🔹 A Week of Action and Empathy

Last Friday, we collaborated with the Network of Families of Femicide Victims on workshops dedicated to gender equality and gender-based violence. It was a reflective and empowering space filled with solidarity, strengthening the voices and knowledge of all participants. 💜✊

At the same time, psychology students conducted a pilot test of the DASS-21 self-assessment to measure levels of depression, anxiety, and stress. They also introduced a pilot for mindfulness techniques 🧘‍♀️, providing students with practical tools to manage their day-to-day challenges.

🗺️ A Saturday Full of Tourism and Culture

On Saturday, it was the turn of tourism students 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓, who organised a pilot tour for out-of-town female students from the University of Cuenca. The highlights? The tour focused on:✅ Safe routes for walking without worries 🚶‍♀️✅ The city’s cultural and natural attractions, true hidden gems 🏛️🌳✅ Spaces for the purchase of essential supplies, easing the students' daily lives 🛒🥦✅ Cultural insights connecting them to Cuenca’s rich identity, a magical city to explore 🎭🎨

The students enjoyed a day full of learning, connection, and new experiences. These activities are designed not only to strengthen their mental and emotional well-being but also to provide them with a sense of belonging in their new home. 🏠❤️
